B COM Tourism and Travel Management (BMTT)

Objectives of the Course

  • To give an insight into the various Functional areas of Business, travel and tourism
  • To impart certain Skills that will be useful in organising travel and tourism business.
  • To develop their personality and make them responsible citizens with greater awareness about tourism Business, Society and Ethics in Business.
  • To impart required Computer Skills to keep pace with the adaptation of Technology in tourism and travel related Business

Eligibility

Students who have completed two years Pre-University Course of Karnataka or equivalent there to are eligible to seek admission to B.Com Degree Course. Students must have done at least two of the commerce subjects

Duration of the Course

The course of study for B.Com degree shall extend over a period of three academic years consisting of six semesters.

Medium of Instruction

The medium of Instruction and Examination shall be in English. The department plans to offer Dual Specialization for the final year students.

DRESS CODE

The students are expected to conform to the dress code specified by the college management. B Com Tourism and Travel students have to wear a Blazer every day and must be in there formal uniform for all formal occasions and whenever they represent the college. Students will carry their Identity Cards at all times.
