  • Providing help, where sought, for writing research proposals, paper publication, Project Completion Report
  • Organizing workshops on research methodology for faculty members undertaking research.
  • Initiating faculty guided student research projects
  • Gathering and disseminating information about the availability of various research grants.

      • The Centre is governed by a committee with members draw from different disciplines to attain interdisciplinary status. The research activities of the institution are guided by the Research Director, Dr. Radha D. Kale.

      • Guide the staff and students to apply for research funds and research fellowships offered by National and International funding agencies.

      • Research projects have become a part of the curriculum for some UG and PG programmes.

      • Presentation of research findings by staff at International Symposia held at USA, India, S. E. Asia, Europe and Mexico.
      • Recognition from IGNOU as RRC (Recognized Research Centre) for M.Phil and Ph.D programmes (Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Electronics, Hindi, Sanskrit and Zoology).
      • Institution identified for support under Level – 0 of DST –FIST programme (Fund for Improvement of Science and Technology Infrastructure, by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. India) .
      • Recognition from IGNOU as “Recognized Research Centre” for Ph.D programmes (Botany, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Electronics, Hindi, Sanskrit and Zoology).
