MCC
Mount Carmel College, established in 1948, is an Autonomous institution affiliation to Bengaluru City University and accredited with a Five Star rating by NAAC. At MCC our ideologies revolve around fine tuning students’ critical thinking abilities and sensibilities to transform them into socially conscious and responsible individuals. MCC strives to impact academic excellence and are equipped with knowledge and skills to make an impact in the world. With a student strength of over 10,000 students the institution offers 60 UG programs, 21 PG programs and 11 Doctoral programs.
School of Commerce
The Department of Commerce was established in the year 1980 and rechristened as the School of Commerce in the academic year 2022-23. With a student strength of over 3,600 the school offers 12 UG programs and 3 PG programs apart from Ph.D. Program. The UG and PG Departments of Commerce are known for their pragmatic approach towards education. The programs offered by the departments strike a balance between theoretical and practical understanding of subjects. The programs are curated and designed to create enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and proficient graduates in the field of Commerce, Management, Trade and Industry. The department regularly organizes seminars, conferences, workshops, fest and other academic activities to improve the students’ skill sets to be ready to brave the corporate world.
About the Conference
Driving Sustainable Commerce: “People, Planet & Profit: The New Paradigm of Sustainable Commerce” The PPP 2026 conference aims to bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and academics to discuss the latest trends and innovations in Sustainable Commerce. The conference will focus on the triple bottom line of people, planet, and profit, exploring how businesses can balance economic growth with social responsibility and environmental sustainability.
The objectives of this conference are to
- Identify best practices and case studies showcasing successful integration strategies in the areas of business, digital technologies, and social sciences.
- Explore the role of policy frameworks, regulations, and governance mechanisms in fostering the integration of these fields for sustainable development.

Guidelines for Submission
- All manuscripts should be written only in English.
- All manuscripts should be sent as an upload in .doc or .docx format (such as Microsoft Word). We do not accept PDF submissions.
- Paper Format: Single Column, A4 Size, and 1.5 line spacing Font Style: Times New Roman (size 12)
- Page Limit: Not to exceed 10 pages, including all tables, figures, and references (APA 6th Edition)
- First Page: Title, Author(s) Name(s) and Affiliation(s) with contact email id and postal address
- Second Page: Title, Abstract, Keywords (5) followed by the main text.
- Authors must ensure the accuracy of citations, quotations, diagrams, tables, and maps. Articles should be thoroughly checked and proofread before submission, both by the author and a critical editorial friend. After you have submitted your article, you are not allowed to make any changes during the refereeing process. However, if your article is accepted, you will have the opportunity to make minor revisions after refereeing and before the final submission of your article.
- Articles will be assessed by referees (double blind peer review) against nine criteria or fewer, if some criteria do not apply to a particular kind of article.
- An article should comprise the title, authors, affiliation of authors, a sufficiently informative abstract of about 150-200 words, Keywords, and an introduction of the paper.
- Authors must retain a copy of every contribution, as these will not be sent along with the proofs to be corrected by the authors.
- Responsibility of the content rests upon the authors and not upon the publisher. The paper will be blind reviewed, and only those approved by the reviewers will be selected for the conference presentation. For accepted papers, one of the authors is expected to present the paper.tted.
Publication
All accepted papers will be published in the Peer-Reviewed Journal – Carmelight (special issue), eISSN 0975 9484, Mount Carmel College Autonomous. Additionally, selected high-quality papers will be invited for publication in Scopus-Indexed Journals, either in special issues or regular issues (with Publication Cost). Best Paper shall be awarded with a cash prize.
