ESSENCE OF THE PROGRAMME
B.Com International Accounting and Finance is an undergraduate program in Commerce integrated with Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK. ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is a global professional accounting body offering the Chartered Certified Accountant qualification, recognized in over 180 countries.
The program comprises of papers offered by Mount Carmel College along with papers integrated with ACCA. The program entails a student completing the ACCA qualification alongside their B.Com IAF from MCC. The student needs to attempt external examinations conducted by ACCA across the B.Com program. The core papers will be taught by experienced professionals in relevant fields. The methodology used in the program builds a platform for the students to apply their analytical skills. It also enables the students to obtain substantial fundamental knowledge of subjects like Accounting, Taxation, Law, Financial Reporting, Auditing, Risk Management, Corporate Governance, Management Accounting, Strategic Business Finance, Business Ethics and Performance Management. The B.Com IAF course is challenging and yet very rewarding to students with high career aspirations. It is also a globally recognized course.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE COURSE
EVALUATION PATTERN
Each course will be evaluated for a maximum of 100 marks comprising of two components namely Continuous Internal Exam (CIE) and Semester End Examination (SEE). The weightage for CIE and SEE is in the ratio of 40:60.
The Semester End Examination will be for 60 marks per course and Continuous Internal Assessment will be for 40 Marks respectively.

Program Specifications
ELIGIBILITY
Students who have completed Two Years Pre-University Course of Karnataka or Equivalent thereto are eligible to seek Admission to B.Com International Accounting and Finance – ACCA Degree Program. Candidates should have studied Business Studies and Accountancy at the Pre University Level.
DURATION OF THE COURSE
The duration of the program is four years spread over eight semesters.
MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
EXIT OPTIONS
The medium of Instruction and Examination shall be English.

EXIT OPTION WITH BACHELOR DEGREE –Ability to solve complex problems that are well-structured requiring multi- disciplinary skills to solve them.
This is to inform you that students who have completed their PUC Board examination are invited to an entrance exam for the applied ACCA/ CMA or CPA programmes scheduled on the 21st of May 2022- Saturday, at 10.30 am. Kindly make yourself available on Campus (near Department of Commerce- UG, LSCB Block, 2nd Floor) by 9. am to register for the same by making a payment of Rs. 200 (Two Hundred Only).
The registrations will be closed by 9.30 am. Late registrations will not be entertained.
The entrance exam will be competitive based on MCQs on the concepts studied (in PUC / Class 12 /equivalent), current affairs, and General Knowledge.
Note: For those students from ISC, CBSE, and other state boards, in pursual of Board examination will have another date scheduled for the entrance exam for the above applied courses. However, students are expected to carry a proof of the Board examination hall ticket for validation.

This is to inform you that students who have completed their PUC Board examination are invited to an entrance exam for the applied ACCA/ CMA or CPA programmes scheduled on the 21st of May 2022- Saturday, at 10.30 am. Kindly make yourself available on Campus (near Department of Commerce- UG, LSCB Block, 2nd Floor) by 9. am to register for the same by making a payment of Rs. 200 (Two Hundred Only).
The registrations will be closed by 9.30 am. Late registrations will not be entertained.
The entrance exam will be competitive based on MCQs on the concepts studied (in PUC / Class 12 /equivalent), current affairs, and General Knowledge.Note: For those students from ISC, CBSE, and other state boards, in pursual of Board examination will have another date scheduled for the entrance exam for the above applied courses. However, students are expected to carry a proof of the Board examination hall ticket for validation.
