About the Program

About the program: The B.Com. Industry Integrated program is a bachelor degree program in commerce. The main objective of this program is to enable students to acquire knowledge and skills required by the industry and business sector. It also ensures that students are equipped with knowledge of computers and various accounting, quantitative and analytical tools used in decision making. The curriculum facilitated by eminent faculty follows a contemporary take and emphasises on issues related to current relevance. This ensures that our students acquire knowledge of quantitative techniques as well as a thorough understanding of the field. Graduates of this degree will be able to demonstrate their skills in Accounting, Business Communication, Business Statistics, E-commerce, Finance, and Tourism Marketing. The Curricular and Extracurricular activities are designed in a way to ensure that the students receive a holistic understanding through the curriculum.

Program Specifications

Eligibility

Students who have completed two years in the Pre-University Course of Karnataka or have an equivalent are eligible to seek admission to the B.Com. Industry Integrated Degree program. Students must have studied at least two subjects of commerce.

Duration of the Program

The course of study for B.Com. Industry Integrated degree shall extend over a period of three academic years consisting of six semesters.

Medium of Instruction

The medium of Instruction and Examination shall be in English.

Dress Code

The students are expected to conform to the dress code specified by the college management. B.Com. Tourism and Travel students have to wear a Blazer every day and must be in their formal uniform for all formal occasions and/or whenever they represent the College. Students are also expected to carry their Identity Cards at all times.
