About the department:

Department of Human Development was established in 2009 and NDCHD course was started in 2010.

The department ensures that students get hands-on experience along with theoretical knowledge so that they feel confident to work in the outside world. In this context, the department has tied up with many organizations and hospitals where the students are also placed as interns.

The department also organizes workshops, seminars, talks by eminent personalities from the field of Human Development and other fields. The students also conducted workshops, seminars and community development programs for the senior citizens, adolescent girls, institutionalized girls and for vulnerable groups.


Department offers the following courses

Undergraduate (UG): BSc NDCHD (Nutrition and Dietetics, Chemistry, Human Development)

Post Graduate (PG) MSc (Human Development)

Eligibility Criteria for BSc. NDCHD course

One should have passed 10 +2 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks from a recognized board. The student should have chemistry in 10 +2 and scored minimum 60% marks in chemistry.
