  • Conducted events during Freshers’ Week events- Treasure Hunt and Sketching,Cul Week Events- Dumb Charades and Solo Singing Competition Manan Event- Smriti Pareeksha . Cul Ah events- Abhinaya and Parampara
  • Sanskrit Seminar on skill development- Smriti Pareeksha
  • Community Development Program helping students of Bharatiya Public School, Vasanthnagar.

Hindi Association

  • Freshers week – Drama and creative writing
  • Cul-Week – Kavitha vachan and debate
  • Culah – Group song and dance, Hindi divas ( Main event) – Guest lecturer, Kavi samelan – Painting and mehendi, Felicitation of our department teachers

Kannada Sangha

  • Conducted events for freshers week, cul week , cul ah manan.
  • Have organized Dollu Kunitha and Theatre workshop and performed.
  • Participated in many intra and inter collegiate fest.
  • Organized and performed in“ Kannadothsava” which is an annual Kannada festival.

The German Department

  • Conducted Fortune Kuchen, Memory Spiel events for  Fresher’s week, Treasure hundt for Cul week and Humanities fest and Needle on point for Cul ah.

History Association

  • Events conducted during  Manan,  Cul-Ah, Fresher’s week, Cul-Week
  • 2 day Study Tour to Belur, Halebidu, Shravanabelagola
  • CDP – Blood Donation Camp in association with Rotaract Club for Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology
  • Guest lecture by Mr. Ravi, an environmentalist regarding conservation of lakes.

Economics Association

  • Cul-Ah 2017- ‘THE BIG PICTURE’ : Having participants of over 30 students from an assortment of various different colleges participating.
  • Economics Association Fest – ‘NAVA KARANATAKA 2025’ in association with Dialogue conducted a one day workshop to discuss the steps that need to be taken inorder to achieve a new and better Karnataka.
  • United Bengaluru : Discussing on reclaiming bangalore and voting.
  • Important talks: Ms Sherri Markose from University of Essex, UK.

Tourism Association

  • Organised various events and competitions for Participants during FRESHERS WEEK, CUL-WEEK, MANAN-HUMANITIES FEST & Cul-Ah.
  • Conducted Educational Tour to Coorg, Hampi and Malaysia/Singapore for students.
  • Students actively participated in Intercollegiate Competitions and workshop held at Ramaiah University, Christ University, St.Claret College, SJCC, JNC, Garden City University.
  • Won OVERALL CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY in Christ College, SJCC & St Claret College.
  • Conducted Ire Festum- Sports Tourism
  • Released Annual Newsletter.

Communication Club

  • Events during Fresher’s Week, Cultural Week and CulAh.
  • Parents’ day: Macbeth: A  Production by the Department of Communication.
  • CommeLive: An exhibition of the works of Communication Studies (September 17, 2017).
  • Film and Documentary Screenings by the final year students, 2018 batch

Sociology Association:

  • Conducted events during Freshers’ week, Mannan & Human Rights Day.
  • Organized many guest lecturers
    • by Ms Savitha Vatsala on Women and Law – Sexual harassment at workplace
    • Madhurima enlightened the final year students on Research Methods and Techniques
    • A lecture on Statistical Measures was also conducted by Ms Ashwini
  • Raghavendra S, an advocate also lectured and enlightened the students on the issues that women face and its legal aspects.
  • organised a field visit for all sociology student of the second year UG to JanapadaLoka Museum at Ramanagara.
  • A batch of students pursuing industrial sociology as an industrial visit visited one of the famous soap factory in the country, Mysore Sandal Soap Factory.

Psychology Association

  • Fresher’s week- Ms Personality & Psychological testing.
  • Cul week- Ms Personality & three legged race.
  • Hummanities fest- Psychodrama & Ms Personality.
  • Cul ah- Psychodrama & Zumba session.
  • Psych Symposium- Panel discussions and five workshops on relationships

Political Science Association

  • The Department of Political Science in association with the Department of Journalism, organized a talk by Dr. Shashi Tharoor, MP on “Colonialism has left the shores but not our imagination”, which was a major highlight of the Department’s activities.
  • Conducted various fun-filled events like “Who’s the Sherlock”, “Political Debate”, “Guess who”, “Monoact” and other such events during Fresher‘s week, Culweek ,Cul-ah and Manan(Humanities Fest).
  • The Department of Political Science in association with Janaagraha, organized a civic event  “Bengaluru Naagarikara Utsava”, with Mayor Sampath Raj as the Chief Guest.
  • Introduced an Inter Departmental Blog named “Lyceum” and the Department also has an Annual Newsletter which is into its third year now.
