NCC
National Cadet Corps is a National Youth Organization comprised of the Army, Navy and Air wing, engaged in grooming youth ‘The Leaders of Tomorrow’ – into disciplined and patriotic citizens. In 1954, MCC committed to the cause of Women’s empowerment and became the first all-women’s college in Karnataka to start an NCC Army wing unit.
It provides an opportunity to develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and sportsmanship among the student cadets. It instils the idea of selfless service among the youth to mould them into better citizens.
