The George Bush Presidential Library and Museum opened in 1997 on west campus, making Texas A&M one of only a few universities to host a presidential library on their campus. An innovative schedule with 12 months in India and 11 months at Texas A & M University School of Law that permits full-time students to earn an unique degree.This program offers to earn two Degrees – PGDBE/PGDIB from Mount Carmel College – Autonomous and M.Jur in Intellectual Property Rights from Texas A & M University. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded the final M.Jur degree from Texas A & M University.

The IP M.Jur. degree — the first of its kind in Texas — targets those who do not plan to practice IP law, but whose careers can benefit from IP education. Potential M.Jur. candidates include patent and trademark agents, technology managers, artists, writers, musicians, inventors, scientists, engineers, software developers, marketing specialists, government officials, business executives, public policy experts, journalists, and academics and graduate students in non-law disciplines.

  • The admission decision is based on an evaluation of all application materials submitted by the student and an interview process.
  • All previous academic records & current resume.
  • A Management Aptitude Test (MAT) score of 550 is mandatory & IELTS score of 6.5 or TOEFL score of 80 is mandatory.
  • The applicant should have successfully completed an Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50%.
